These oral history interviews were conducted by staff and volunteers at the Manchester Chinese Centre as part of the Manchester Chinese Archive project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, and are available to view on DVDs at the Greater Manchester County Record Office.

We have short summary transcripts for seven of them in Chinese text only – see individual photo descriptions. If anyone would like to volunteer to translate these summaries into English, or to provide summaries for any of the other interviews, we would be very grateful!

Jenny Lee May Wong 黄叶莉薇
Born in the New Territories, Hong Kong, and came to England to be with her father Yip Cheung Yip in the early 1970s. Founder and director of the Manchester Chinese Centre, since 2005 when the Centre was established. Head of the Manchester Chinese Centre Supplementary School.
