The sending person/organization is listed. For example. for this message the sending organization is the Republican Party of Florida: https://politicalemails.org/messages/17647. Click on that and you’ll see all the messages from that group that are in the archive.
As for the “occasion,” I’m not sure what you mean. The messages aren’t always responding to a specific issue, and the system is mostly automated.
What do you mean by this? What sort of context do you need?
